Christa Jarvis of the Weyburn Group Homes Society held up a baby piggy before it was presented for kissing to the winner of a raffle ticket draw, during the society’s annual barbecue on Thursday afternoon at River Park. There were three candidates for kissing the pig, and executive director Colin Folk was the eventual winner of the raffle, which was held to raise funds towards buying a new bus for the Group Homes Society. The raffle fundraiser brought in a total of $1,251 towards the new bus.
