Fire fighters prepared to fight a blaze that engulfed a residence at the Cyril Tessier farm southwest of Yellow Grass on the evening of Aug. 28. The home and an adjacent car garage were completely destroyed by the fire, which was responded to by fire crews from Yellow Grass, Pangman and Radville. No one was injured in the fire, and the cause of the fire is under investigation. A trust fund for the family has been set up at the Weyburn Credit Union branches, and Blue Earth Environmental is accepting donations of gift cards for food, gas and school supplies, with a number of fundraisers being planned in area communities.
