Don't forget the pets!

The Weyburn Humane Society has created Pet Alert stickers, which include the Weyburn Fire Department logo.

Fire crew members met with Weyburn Humane Society members on May 16 to launch the Pet Alert sticker campaign. The Pet Alert stickers increase the chances of household pets being rescued in the event of a fire. The Weyburn Humane Society has created Pet Alert stickers, which include the Weyburn Fire Department logo. In the event of a house fire, the stickers notify the fire rescue team that animals are on the premises and since the firefighters to know what to look for, the Pet Alert stickers help to ensure the safety of the pets as well as the firefighters.


The Pet Alert window clings sell for $5 through the Weyburn Humane Society, with all proceeds going to the shelter.
