The residents of Carlyle's Moose Mountain Lodge were treated to an appearance by a tiny equine visitor on Friday, June 19, as Angel, a miniature horse from Grenfell's Discovery Farms paid a visit to the facility.
Moose Mountain Lodge staffer Jenny Martel arranged Angel's visit and said, “I thought it would be a treat for our residents and they really seemed to get a kick out of Angel. Many of them are unable to get outside and many of them also come from farming backgrounds, so I thought this would be something they might really enjoy.”
“I'm very happy it went over so well with so many of our residents.”
