Ken and Curtis Fox were fitting pipe while Stock welded. Panther Drilling was begun by two local investors and remains completely locally owned and operated. The company has three rigs it operates in southeast Saskatchewan. Panther Drilling, along with southeast-area oilpatch companies, are also preparing to take part in the biennial Saskatchewan Oil and Gas Show, with the 15th edition to be held June 4-6 at the Weyburn exhibition grounds. Displays, both indoors and outdoors filling the fair grounds, will have all the latest in equipment and technology, plus there will be an awards banquet, special speakers including government ministers, industry seminars, and a golf tournament with a steak-and-lobster supper.
