Due to phenomenal interest, the deadline to order t-shirts for Red Cross Pink Shirt Day has been extended to February 10. To date almost 10,000 of the anti-bullying t-shirts have been sold province wide!
This April thousands of people province-wide will be wearing pink shirts to help the Red Cross bring awareness to - and take a stand against - bullying in our communities. There will be parades, a student rally, fundraising events and more. Red Cross Pink Shirt Day is generously sponsored by SaskEnergy, Extreme Hockey & Sport and Saskatchewan Credit Unions.

The Sea of Pink initiative started in 2007 when two high school students in Nova Scotia took a stand against bullying. By asking all of their peers to wear pink to school in support of a male classmate who had been bullied for wearing a pink shirt, they created a grassroots campaign that has attracted worldwide attention. It has since swept across the country and is exploding throughout Saskatchewan.
