Ray Hamm of the Weyburn Rotary Club (left) presented donations totalling $5,000 to representatives of local organizations on Thursday. The representatives included Colin Folk of the Weyburn Group Homes Society; Jan Thorn, Weyburn Combo Bowlers; Connie Nightingale, Brian Glass and Fran Oudot of the Weyburn branch of the Royal Canadian Legion; Tina Clay, Weyburn Leisure Centre, and Jackie Wilson of Inclusion Weyburn. The donation to the Legion will go towards their heating and cooling system replacement project, while the funds to the Leisure Centre will pay for free swimming on Mondays for children and youth in July and August. The funds to Inclusion Weyburn will help pay for the “Fun in the Sun” summer program.
