Weyburn has done it again! On September 20, the Salvation Army teamed up with Canada Post for the annual Stamping Out Hunger Campaign.

Over 1,120 kilograms or 2,464 pounds of food was donated to the Weyburn Salvation Army Food Bank.

A huge thank you to all of the Canada Post workers and their families who volunteered their Saturday morning to collect the food. Also, to the 20 volunteers who came to the Food Bank to help sort, box up and store the food for our hamper program.

Last but not least, the citizens of Weyburn who donated the food. Without your donations the Salvation Army wouldn't be able to help those in need in our city.

For more information on our Hamper programs or to donate, visit us at 126 4th Street in Weyburn or call 306-842-2280.
