Valleyview Petroleum Ltd. recently matched an ArtsVest $8,000 sponsorship to restore the James Eadie Mural. The mural, which was removed from the Souris Valley Regional Care Centre prior to its demolition in 2009, is currently housed at the Soo Line Historical Museum. Thanks to these two sponsors, the museum can proceed with its motto, 'As we walk in the present and prepare for the future, let us not lose the past, our heritage'.
