A large group from the Weyburn Rotary Club gather by the engine for the Southern Prairie Railway, the heritage tourist train based out of Ogema, at the restored train station on Sunday afternoon. The group included a delegation of 10 from India on a Rotary International Friendship Exchange, guest Ross McMurtry, exchange student Rike Lieske (front left corner), who returned home to Parchim, Germany, on Monday, ending her year in Weyburn. The Rotary members included the hosts for the India delegation (who previously were hosted in India for a visit this past year), including Tom and Marilyn Schuck, Mal and Delaine Barber, Dale and Anna Fish, Dave and Pat May and Denis and Laraine Tremblay. The delegation, some of whom are wearing red cowboy hats at right, include Kirti Mehta and Jyoti Mehta, Dr. Mohan and Shanta Mohan, Usha Medina and Shankar Subramanian, Chandre Gowda and Anitha Gowda, and Anil Gupta and Sangita Gupta. The delegation were in Weyburn until June 11, then will be in Prince Albert on June 12-14, and in Saskatoon on June 15-17; they gave a presentation in Weyburn the evening of June 11 about their home in Bangalore, India.
