Two large sporting events coming in March

An influx of people will be coming to the area for the March 14 and 15 weekend. There will be two large events in the area which will bring business to hotels, restaurants, and local shopping stores.

The Wheatland Senior Centre had a full week of activities. Monday Bridge winners in first was Linda Kot, second was Erskine Sandiford, third was Jean Janoski. Friday Bridge winners were first George Gillies, second Marion Brown, third Basil Holyer.

Police investigate thefts, break and enters

Alcohol is believed to be a factor in a fight at a local convenience store on February 2. Weyburn Police Services attended the store and upon arrival, the involved individual had vacated the store.
