Wor-Kin Shop announces new partnership in raising $500,000

Automobility Medical of Regina has recently offered to donate 10% of sales towards the Weyburn Wor-Kin Shop's new Day Program Building project.

On February 15th, the grade 2/3 Jump Rope for Heart Club held their Jump Off. This year we had 39 students take part. Together the students raised $4790.

Police request help finding missing person

Report from the Weyburn Police Service for the week of February 20 to 27: During the reporting period, police handled 90 calls for service. The winter conditions moving into the area contributed to several traffic accidents.

On the week of Friday, Feb. 17 to Thursday, Feb. 23, the Carlyle Detachment of the RCMP responded to a total of 46 calls. Calls for the 17th started with a request to check an abandoned vehicle spotted at the roadside.
