Local gymnasts will be able to ply their trade in Estevan this winter with the return of the Estevan Gymnastics Club. The group was inactive last year due to a lack of interest, but it is gearing up for a restart this fall.

Just when things looked grim for the Estevan Big Dogs, Tanner Froese stepped up to vault them into their first victory of the season.

Several practitioners of tae kwon do and karate competed at the first annual Pan Am Martian Arts Games in Balgonie on the weekend. The participants included three from the Estevan Tae Kwon Do Club and several others from the Vilcu's Karate Klub.

There was no question of the top drivers at Estevan Motor Speedway last Wednesday.
