The Carlyle Cougars (Wade) put out a great effort in both of their games this weekend. Our first game was a home game played against Lampman. The Cougars had a strong second period scoring 3 of their 5 goals.

Apex Bruins split with Swift Current
The Estevan Apex midget AA Bruins were in Swift Current over the weekend for a pair of games against the K-Motel Hurricanes. The first contest between the two teams was on Friday and saw the Bruins double-up the Hurricanes 4-2.

The Eagle Drilling Estevan Bruins were upended 6-2 by the Notre Dame Hounds in Wilcox on Tuesday night. The loss comes just three days after beating the Hounds 2-1 at the Civic on Saturday.

In their second round two-game, total-goals provincial series, the Estevan Sherritt Coal peewee AA Bruins took on the Melville Millionaires. Game one was played in Melville last Tuesday and saw the Millionaires squeak by the Bruins 3-2.
