The Weyburn Iron Pigs defeated the Regina Ghosts 5-2 on Friday evening at Tom Laing Park in Qu'Appelle Valley League action.

The South Corner Racing Circuit brought two days of entertaining action to the Trackside Motocross Association’s facility southeast of Estevan on July 24 and 25. Dozens of riders were entered each day between the many classes of racing offered.

On July 19 and July 22, the senior men from Golf Kenosee and White Bear Lake Golf Course took part in some friendly competition during the annual Senior Men’s Ryder Cup.

Keely Shaw will be part of Team Canada in Para cycling at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games this summer. Shaw, who hails from Midale, will suit up for Canada in the women’s C4 classification.

Some of the top young baseball players in the province were in Estevan on the weekend for the Baseball Sask. U13 AA Tier 2 provincial baseball tournament at Mel Murray Cactus Park.
