The Weyburn Silver Seals are hosting the 2019 Invitational Swim Meet today at the Weyburn Leisure Centre. Throughout the day, swimmers from across Saskatchewan will compete in a variety of races. Stay tuned for more photos from the meet.

Olympic swimmer Martha McCabe worked with the members of the Weyburn Silver Seals Swimming Club on Friday evening at the Weyburn Leisure Centre's outdoor pool.

The Weyburn Beavers were on a three-game slump with a 6-5 loss at home against the Edmonton Prospects on Saturday and two 8-4 losses on the road against the Okotoks Dawgs on Monday and Tuesday.

Hunter Wallster had an exceptional year in Saskatchewan high school track and field, winning gold in the discus toss and silver in the shot put. He also set a new provincial record in the discus at regionals.

The Challenger Baseball program that was in Estevan for the first time this spring proved to be a hit with the athletes who participated and the “buddies” who helped them.

June 29 was a great day to be out on the lake and to raise money for a great cause in the Alameda area.

The annual Estevan Lions Club CNIB Golf Classic was held Thursday at the TS&M Woodlawn Golf Course. The tournament had a Texas scramble format.

The Weyburn Richardson Pioneer Goldwings have announced the recipients of the 2019 Player Scholarships and both were awarded to Assitant Captains from the 2018-19 Season. Mahteya Dumelie is the recipient of the Esso Cup/Prairie Sky Co-op Scholarship.
