One of the long-standing junior golf tournaments in the Estevan area was contested Sunday afternoon at the TS&M Woodlawn Golf Club. The 24th annual Rondeau Cup attracted 30 young golfers of various ages.

The Weyburn Beavers were on a record-breaking 16 game win streak and were looking to push it to 17 today in Swift Current against the 57's. Unfortunately, the 57's topped the Beavers 6-5.

Brian Fitzpatrick started golfing at the TS&M Woodlawn Golf Course at about 4:30 in the morning on Saturday. His friend Kris Carley of Carnduff is playing alongside him.
