The champion in the women’s division has been crowned at the Frametech Classic at the TS&M Woodlawn Golf Course. Paige Wheeler shot an 84 in the second round of the tournament Sunday to finish first in the women’s competition.

The opening round of the Frametech Classic at the TS&M Woodlawn Golf Course has wrapped up. Nearly 120 golfers are entered in this year’s tournament, between the men’s, senior men’s and women’s competitions.

The Can-Am Late Model Shootout brought some of the top race car drivers from the Canadian Prairie provinces and the northern mid-west U.S. to the Estevan Motor Speedway on Friday night, and it was a local driver who prevailed.

The Hockey Canada Summer Showcase is a hockey camp in Calgary Alberta from August 2-11 for Women who play in the USports league (the highest Canadian sport University level).

The Weyburn Beavers played a two-game home series against the Regina Red Sox on Monday and Tuesday. Monday’s game started off in favour of the Red Sox with them scoring two runs right off the bat in the first.

Cole Fonstad and Brayden Pachal brought some hardware with them to the Rafferty Rumble on Saturday in downtown Estevan.
