The Power Dodge Estevan Bruins may have been a little slow out of the gate Friday against the Melfort Mustangs but they more than made up for it with a solid 5-1 win over the visiting Melfort Mustangs.

Cross Country Provincials Congratulations to the GFK Sr. Cross Country Team who competed at the Provincial Meet in Delisle on the weekend. There were more than 700 athletes competing in races that each had more than 110 competitors.

The town of Delisle once again played host to the Saskatchewan High School Athletic Association’s cross-country provincials, with some Estevan Comprehensive School (ECS) and other southeast school talent in the mix.

The SHSAA provincial cross-country championships were held in Delisle on Saturday under cool and windy conditions, with a number of participants from area schools taking part.
