There will be a lot of southeast Saskatchewan representation at the World Junior A Hockey Challenge next month in Bonnyville, Alta.

The Estevan Apex midget AA Bruins picked up five of a possible six points during a three-game homestand on the weekend. The Bruins (8-5-1) opened the weekend with a 4-2 victory over the Weyburn Wings on Friday night.

Six members of the Estevan Sharks travelled to Toronto with U14 Team Sask to compete in the Paul Taylor Memorial Tournament.
