For the first time, the Estevan Minor Box Lacrosse Association handed out end of the year awards to their top players, coaches and officials after a successful summer. Cecile Seemann won the volunteer of the year.

After taking one year off, Flyin’ High at the Eagle Showdown is back again! Eagle Motorsports and Joey Galloway Racing is once again bringing back the action of stock car racing to the area. This year’s action is set for Saturday, Sept.

All teams with Weyburn Minor Football were in action at the new football field on Saturday. A number of activities and events were held throughout the day, to mark the official opening of the new field.

Travis Tokarz is on the ice practicing for his last year in Junior Men’s curling. Tokarz started curling at the Weyburn Curling Club with Donette Tracey in the after school program at a young age.
