The Estevan 2016 Saskatchewan Summer Games provided an opportunity for the South East equestrian team to have some fun and capture a few medals in the process.

The first annual Tri-for-a-Purpose was hosted at Moose Mountain Provincial Park on Sunday, July 24. Starting at the Main Beach athletes made their way into Kenosee where they swam 500 metres out and around a buoy.

The Estevan 2016 Saskatchewan Summer Games have officially come to a close. Saskatchewan Games Council chairperson Julie Brandt announced the close of the week-long multi-sport event a little before 6 p.m.
