Summer Games seeking host for 2019
The Ministry of Parks, Culture and Sport is inviting cities to submit bids to host the 2019 Western Canada Summer Games. The Games' host will see a $1.5 million investment by the provincial government in support of bringing the games to Saskatchewan.

Kirk’s novice cougars travelled to Whitewood for a tournament on the weekend. Three games were played. First was a team from Whitewood. It was a very close game with Whitewood coming out as the victors by one goal. Next a team from Yorkton.

Carlyle hosted Girls 4A Regionals
The Carlyle Cougars senior girls volleyball team hosted Regionals on Saturday, Nov. 15. Though the Cougars were unable to move onto provincials they put up a good fight and celebrated having a good season.
