The Sr. Boys' Volleyball Team hosted their home tournament this past weekend. They played well, finishing 3rd in the round robin. However, they lost to Arcola in the semi-final game. Manor ended up winning the tournament.

It was all heading in the right direction through 40 minutes, then all hell broke loose.

It has been a banner year for Riley Raynard, and recently it got even better. The 16-year-old hobby stock driver from Lampman is a finalist for the Ken Schrader Real Racer Award, presented by the magazine Speedway Illustrated.

It took some time to crack the goalie at the other end of the ice, but after that the goals came fast and furious. The Estevan TS&M Bruins thumped the West Central Wheat Kings 7-1 in bantam AA action on Sunday at Affinity Place.

The Southeast Vipers coached by Eugene Brown, with assistance from Teresa Johnston, Eric Brown, and Kelly Running, have been a 17 and under team for the past two years, but this season will see change.

It's the great Canadian past time, hockey, and the Big 6 Hockey League will again entertain many this year. Season openers were held on Saturday, Nov. 1, and action will continue through to the end of January with playoffs taking place in February.

The Government of Saskatchewan has announced that Tourism Saskatchewan is providing $150,000 to the Canadian Curling Association to help bring the Ford World Women's Curling Championship (FWWCC) to the City of Swift Current in 2016.

The Carievale Storm were in town on Saturday, November 1st to kick off the regular season. The game had lots of action right from the opening faceoff, a constant end to end battle through two periods.
