Team Southeast won a bronze medal in the mix medal competition at the Saskatchewan Winter Games, held in Prince Albert from Feb. 16 to 22. There were nine members of the Weyburn Cobra Wrestling Club who competed in the Winter Games.

The Weyburn Red Wings fell 5-2 to the visiting Kindersley Klippers on February 16 at Crescent Point Place. Head Coach Bryce Thoma said the Wings came out flat in and picked up the pace in the second and third period.

Weyburn Curling Club to host Masters

The Weyburn Curling Club will be hosting the 2014 Saskatchewan Masters Curling Championship from Wednesday, February 26 to Sunday, March 2. This competition is for curlers who are 60 years of age or older.
