The Weyburn Synchro Stars announce a provide-wide partnership between Synchro Saskatchewan and the Food Banks of Saskatchewan.

It all comes down to this weekend for the Weyburn Red Wings. The Wings are hanging on to the final playoff spot with two games left in the regular season in a home and home with the Estevan Bruins.

Announced in mid-February was the January Sask Sport Athlete of the Month Award recipients. Athlete of the Month is given to nominees who have shown outstanding performance in their sport.

The Saskatchewan Games Council announced the creation of a Saskatchewan Games Legacy Program.

The South East wrestling team came away from the Saskatchewan Winter Games with a bronze medal in the mixed team competition. The wrestling team included nine members of the Weyburn Cobra Wrestling Club.

The men's hockey team for Team Southeast won silver at the 2014 Saskatchewan Winter Games. The team was undefeated throughout the round robin play, and lost only once, 8-5 against Parkland Valley in the gold medal match to finish with a silver medal.
