Bruins lose two of three on road trip

A road trip that began in strong fashion ended in disappointment for the CanElson Drilling Estevan Bruins after the club lost two of three games. The Bruins (1-4-1) started the trip with a 5-4 victory over the Nipawin Hawks on Friday.

The Weyburn Minor Baseball Association had its annual awards night on Sept. 17. Players from all divisions were presented with year-end awards at McKenna Hall. The Eugene Emberley award was presented to Jeff Nikolejsin.
