One of my favourite Sunday afternoon routines is listening to the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation’s (CBC) Cross Country Check-up .

Team Canada, skipped by Kevin Koe, won the 2016 Men’s World Curling Championship. They got past Denmark, skipped by Rasmus Stjerne, 5-3 in the final.

A friend of ours, Jordyn Critchley, posted a fantastic date idea on Instagram over the weekend. It’s a fun activity that has a lot of options for variation.

There’s a feature, which has recently become quite popular on Facebook. It’s called “Memories” and it brings up posts that you’ve made on that day in years past.

Does Weyburn need increased speed limits in the city? There are already so many risks on the road, with distracted drivers who are not following the rules. Our focus should be driving safer — not faster.

It’s nice to see that democracy sometimes is given a nod, such as by the Weyburn city council who is asking for the comments and input of the public on some major proposed changes to the city’s Traffic Bylaw.

Let the speculation begin.
