I'm always late to the party when it comes to updating my phone. It's only been recently I got around to setting myself up with one of the newer models.

“Chickadees are very curious. See if one will come to you.” Heeding Sara’s suggestion, I put my hand out, palm up, and waited. Within a few seconds, a little bird landed on a nearby branch, cocked his head and looked at me.

To the Editor: Many years ago we had capital punishment, where a death warrant was issued on the life of the guilty. That was justly done away with. Now, however, it seems a “death warrant” can be issued on the life of the innocent.
