The Editor, This legislation is sold on the premise to keep Canadians safe from terrorists. This bill broadly criminalizes the advocating of terrorism in general.

The end of winter is near and with that starts the playoff season in sports such as curling, hockey and skating. Over the years as my children have grown, I have noticed a switch in attitude when it comes to the importance of winning.

Here’s something to ponder: oil sector service companies now have a stack of letters on their desks demanding they cut the rates they charge the oil producers.

With crude oil prices in the tank, it’ll be interesting to see if that crude continues ending up in the tanker, as in tanker rail car. The National Post reported on Feb. 2 that demand for rail tanker cars had, well, tanked.

The Editor, Like many of us, I read the story of Gail and Jim Sack, who nearly lost their lives to carbon monoxide poisoning, and was relieved that the North Battleford couple was found by a family member and saved.
