Dear Editor: I am writing in response to a February 22nd editorial about the shortage of physicians in southeast Saskatchewan.

Every now and then the debate on capital punishment is resurrected. Usually it reappears when we hear the news of a horrible crime, or we hear of an upcoming execution outside our borders.

As a photographer, you get me started on the topic of cameras, and you might have to block off an hour or two. In the last six months in particular, the topic of the GoPro has come up a lot - three times today, in fact.

So the Marr family went on a vacation. That's right, over the February break, my kind parents took me and my sisters to the tropical paradise that is Hawaii.

It's not as if Premier Brad Wall does not have a point about the U.S. government's dithering on approving the Keystone XL Pipeline.

He said Beginning next school year, students in the South East Cornerstone Public School Division will have to sit through four weeks of classes in February.

Reading letters to the editor concerning our hospital and doctors in Redvers, I have an autistic son in a wheelchair. He started having grand mal seizures one day after 5:00 p.m.

Thank you Cindy Moffatt for writing the editorial in the Feb. 22nd edition of The Observer. Everyone should respond to her request that we contact our parliamentarians by phone or in writing.

If there is one absolute that I have learned in my time at The Mercury it's this: people hate change. We've seen it time and time again. The automated garbage issue drew more of a response than almost anything I've encountered in 14 years here.
