Editor's note: The following letter has been written by a young man who is issuing a public apology for spray painting two local schools.

The Editor: For years, urban governments operated within tight budgets with very little money from the province. Cities found creative ways to maintain infrastructure and to provide for our citizens.

Estevan still may not be that pretty, but we're certainly gaining ground and making the right moves. There may have been some stumbles in the past, but our city's green spaces and getaway spots are now ubiquitous.

OK, I'll have to admit it and I'm sure it will shock both of you readers, but I'm not a huge Gary Bettman fan right now. I know, I know, that is surprising.

I have a big love-hate relationship with social media.

Nobody wants to pay higher taxes, or enjoys increases in user fees, but there are times when it is a necessity of practicality and economics.

A run-in on the track that sent sparks flying, literally and figuratively, ended up disqualifying Aaron Turnbull, Joey Galloway and Mason Big Eagle from Saturday's season finale at Estevan Motor Speedway.

There are many ways to date somebody. There are things that put us into a certain age group and a certain time. These aren't things that tell generations apart but can identify people within just two or three years of each other.

This week has been one of those weeks where several things ticked me off slightly. Things that should have made me much angrier only made me a little peeved off.
