The Weyburn Eagles senior boys basketball team won the championship game for the Len Williams Memorial Tournament, held Friday and Saturday in the Eagle gym. In game 1 versus the Melville Cobras, the Eagles won 81-55.

A Weyburn man faces charges following a fatal collision near Moose Jaw on Sunday, prompting a comment from the Weyburn Police Service.
