Weyburn Review

A fundraising banquet will be held by the Weyburn-Big Muddy New Democrat Party on Thursday, March 17. The banquet will be held at the Weyburn Royal Canadian Legion, with cocktails at 5:30 p.m., and supper at 6 p.m.

Several local powerlifters recently competed at the Canadian Powerlifting Union nationals in Regina, held February 15 to 20. Marnel Spencer won a gold medal in the 47 kilogram Master 2 category. At a body weight of 45.

Gary Duane Mowrey, late of Weyburn, passed away Monday, February 15, 2016 in the Weyburn General Hospital after a long hard fought battle with cancer, at the age of 65.
