A 3-D archery competition will be held this weekend by the Weyburn Wildlife Federation’s Archery Club. The 3-D life-size animal targets will be set up in the old curling rink in Goodwater, where the archery club has an archery range established.

Loretta Lorrane Winters, late of Weyburn, passed away February 11, 2016, at the age of 76 years. Loretta was predeceased by her parents: Frank and Catherine Seitz (nee: Uhrich); sister Dorothy Seitz.

Ken was born May 7, 1926 in Lang. He grew up on a farm west of Yellow Grass and attended Rocky Bluff School. In April 1952 he married Sue (Whitrow) and their life together began.

City, government officials on hand

The 58th annual Weyburn Rotary Music Festival is set to bring the best from local performers starting with the piano competition on Monday, Feb. 29. The piano classes will run until Friday, Mar. 4, with the vocal classes on Mar.
