Earl Ness, late of Weyburn, passed away April 8, 2014, at the age of 91 years. Earl was born on January 15, 1923 to Harold and Mae Ness. Earl attended the Tree Lake School until Grade 8 when he stayed home to help Grandpa Ness on the farm.

Midale (cpd) - The M.O.R.E. 2000 (Midale and Area Rec Board) fundraising auction raised over $90,000 to be used for renovations and to help with everyday expenses incurred running the rinks.

The Weyburn Police Service received a complaint on Sunday of two youths spray-painting a building in the 400 block of Souris Avenue; police located the youths and a 15-year-old female has been charged with mischief.
