Golf season at the Weyburn Golf Club officially started April 23. The driving range is also open and the pro- shop is fully stocked with PUMA and Titleist merchandise. Since the 2011 flood, the golf course has been under construction.

The Weyburn Chamber of Commerce Weybex Awards will be held May 23 at McKenna Hall at 6 p.m. The Weybex Awards is a celebration of business excellence in the City of Weyburn honouring individuals and businesses doing great things in the community.

Both Weyburn and Stoney Creek entered Wednesday night 3-0. And with two teams already at three losses, their places in Friday's semi-finals were secure. This game was more about positioning themselves for the playoffs.
