Renowned children's advocate to speak in Weyburn

Renowned children's advocate Dr. Jean Clinton will be speaking in Weyburn on May 15. Clinton is an Associate Clinical Professor, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuro-Science at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario.

$20 Million in additional funding for Children's Hospital

Families will benefit from 24 additional inpatient beds to be added to the Children's Hospital of Saskatchewan following an additional $20 million investment by the Government of Saskatchewan.

SGI reminds motorists to slow down in work zones

Cpl. Rodney Levesque was patrolling Highway 16 near Foam Lake last May when he got the call to be on the lookout for a vehicle that had nearly run down a flag person in a work zone. He caught the vehicle going 137 km/h after exiting the work zone.
