Students excited to be creating a better world

The Weyburn Police Service dealt with a number of accidents and an attempted break-in to a home in the past week. Police attended to an accident between a train and a semi truck on Dec. 11 at around 3:45 p.m.

The provincial government announced they will continue to fund targeted police initiatives, which for the Weyburn Police Service means they are continuing to fund two officer positions.

A home at the corner of Eighth Street and Bison Avenue is brightly lit up on all sides with many colourful lights for Christmas time, along with many homes and businesses in Weyburn and area.

The AA Bantam Crescent Point Wings hit to the road Monday, December 16 to take on the Estevan Bruins. The AA Bantam Crescent Point Wings have played 12 league games, with a record of 5-5-2.
