The Weyburn Silver Seals swim club held their annual meet on Saturday, July 6. Other swimmers participating were from Estevan, Regina, Oxbow, Melville, Moosomin, Swift Current, Assiniboia and Gravelbourg.

Weyburn Co-operative Association Ltd is dedicated to the community of Weyburn. Weyburn Co-op has supported organizations that strive to improve our community. The Co-op has similar goals for community support and development as Habitat for Humanity.

Ken Schmidt, chairman of the Deep South Pioneer Museum, drives the famous duck tub tractor in the antique tractor and steam engine parade on Sunday. The parade, followed by the threshing, were the final activities at Pioneer Days on Sunday.

Ronald Earl Glover, late of Osage, passed away peacefully June 20, 2013 at the Fillmore Health Centre. He was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Hazel Glover, and one sister in infancy.

Pioneer Days in Ogema wraps up their day of festivities with a good old fashioned threshing, done with antique machinery.

Khedive (cpd) - Brooklyn Weisgerber, daughter of Mile and Sharlynn Weisgerber, played on the Swift Current hockey team last winter. She made it to the Saskatchewan top 42 female hockey tryouts.
