March weather extremely warm compared to average

The weather in the month of March was much warmer than the long-term average for the city of Weyburn, as temperatures came close to setting a new record. The average high temperature was 8.

Police investigates mischief, thefts, accidents, break-ins

Weyburn drinking water advisory lifted

Weyburn Mayor Debra Button confirmed on April 1 that the provincial Ministry of Environment has lifted the Precautionary Drinking Water Advisory for the City of Weyburn.

Government provides $1.7 million

The Provincial Government will provide up to $1.7 million to Milligan Bio-Tech under the Saskatchewan Biofuels Investment Opportunity (SaskBIO) program. Milligan Bio-Tech is a Canadian bio-diesel production company based in Foam Lake, Saskatchewan.
