Local Weyburn Water Polo athlete, Russell Lenferna, has been invited to play with the Canadian Men's Senior National Team in Santa Ana, California from May 10 - 13.

RBC, through RBC Foundation, announced a $50,000 donation to the Weyburn & District Hospital Foundation to mark the 100th anniversary of its Weyburn Branch. RBC's donation is in support of the capital campaign to build a new hospital in Weyburn.

The Weyburn Concert Series held its final concert of the season on May 6 with a performance by the gospel standards group, The Swing'n Soul Singers.
