Weyburn Review

A bike rodeo was organized by the Weyburn Police Service in Jubilee Park, utilizing the pathway system for each station, testing young cyclists on the rules and on their knowledge of bike safety. Volunteers from throughout the community helped man the stations, including a bike decorating station, and the Salvation Army put on a barbecue at the end.

Inclusion Weyburn and Envision Counselling each received a donation of $10,740 from the golf event.

The Young Fellows were established a century ago for the simple purpose of making Weyburn a better place to live in.

Awards for Grades 7 to 9 students were presented at St. Michael School, the first time in two years they have been able to hold the ceremonies.

A Canada Day flag ceremony, barbecue and bouncy houses will be part of the celebrations on July 1.

Canada's 155th birthday will be celebrated with many activities.

Weyburn police responded to 70 calls for service on June 20-26, resulting in 16 charges laid.
