Midale's Plus One Club hosted this year's Santa Parade which went through the town on Saturday, including down Main Street as well as going by Mainprize Manor. Many families were out to see the parade, and children were prepared for the candies with bags ready to collect their share. A 50-50 raffle was also held in support of the club.

Weyburn Fire Brigade holds toy drive for the Family Place

The Weyburn Fire Brigade held a "Fill the Fire Truck" toy drive for the Family Place on Saturday at the Canadian Tire store, with the added bonus of a brigade member filling in for Santa Claus for photos inside. The fire truck cab was filled, along with at least two carts, with hundreds of toys donated for the families served by the Family Place.
