A former principal of the Weyburn Comprehensive School, Wade Oberg, won his lawsuit against the Southeast Cornerstone School Division, and was reinstated in his position as principal by Justice M.R.

The Government of Saskatchewan has made a number of tools available for the public to ask questions, access information and obtain support during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency (SPSA) is encouraging residents to sign up for the SaskAlert App as a way to get accurate and timely information about COVID-19.

Weyburn police received information regarding a suspected drug transaction on March 31. The police were able to locate one of the suspect vehicles and as a result a male has been charged with possession of cocaine.

In a news release sent out on Sunday, The Board of Directors of the Saskatchewan Country Music Awards announced that they will be hosting a Virtual Awards Show on May 16. The show will air on Access7 Cable TV at 8:00p.m.

There can be no denying that COVID-19 has had a tremendous impact on global and local markets. While the true extent of the pandemic’s effects will not be known for some time, we can begin to get an idea of how markets are being affected.

Saskatchewan has four new, confirmed cases of COVID-19 as of April 6, bringing the provincial total to 253, with 169 of the cases considered active. These are confirmed cases, minus those reported as recovered and deaths.
