Weyburn fire fighters sprayed water up a wall and into the eaves of a house on 11th Street late on Sunday night.

Lightning bolts flashed west of Weyburn, seen here behind the Richardson Pioneer terminal. A group of severe thunderstorms tracked in from the west, at one point causing a warning for tornadoes in the Pangman area.

A novice bull rider had some difficulty letting go after he was bucked off during his ride, at the Souris River Rodeo on Saturday. He was able to release his hand shortly after this and he was all right, but had to take no-time for his ride.

Riders had to break a balloon with their horse, in the balloon race during the DQ Kids Rodeo on Saturday morning at the Weyburn rodeo arena. Contestants went up five at a time with the goal to tromp on a balloon and break it.

The Weyburn Silver Seals are hosting the 2019 Invitational Swim Meet today at the Weyburn Leisure Centre. Throughout the day, swimmers from across Saskatchewan will compete in a variety of races. Stay tuned for more photos from the meet.
