Weyburn Review

The students and award presenters of scholarships and bursaries at Southeast College gathered following the awards luncheon, held on May 14 at the Weyburn campus of Southeast College.

Weyburn player Nya Prochinsky headed up the field with the soccer ball, pursued by players from Redvers during a league game at Jubilee Park on May 14. The Weyburn girls easily handled the mixed team from Redvers, handing them a 6-0 loss.

Many people from all walks of life took in the Spring Fling barbecue and dance on Thursday evening, held by Inclusion Weyburn.

Honourary life memberships were awarded by the Weyburn Rotary Club to longtime members Alex Miles and Bev Hansen.

The Calvary Baptist Community Church held a fundraiser barbecue on Saturday. Donations were made by purchasing either a burger or a hot dog or by donating in order to get face paint done.
