The Weyburn Police Service attended to a fight in progress involving numerous high school students on Thursday. Two individuals were apprehended at the scene and both charged for fighting under the bylaw.

The junior team-roping pair of Trey Nowosad and Logan Beebe did their best to rope this calf, with Nowosad getting the head. The pair had to take no time as the heels were not roped in this try.

Mazey Hillrud of Ceylon rounded the final barrel of her cloverleaf patern during the junior barrel-racing event at the Weyburn High School Rodeo on Saturday. She recorded a time 16.617 seconds, plus a five-second penalty for knocking a barrel over.

Malvina Trumpour volunteered her time at the Huge Book Sale hosted by Blue Earth Environmental as part of the Mental Health Week events in Weyburn. The Canadian Mental Health Association held their 68th annual Mental Health Week on May 6-12.
