Students and staff at Haig School took part in the Terry Fox National School Run on Thursday afternoon, part of a national school-based event in support of the Terry Fox Foundation, raising funds for cancer research.

Fillmore RCMP, Stoughton Fire Department, and Stoughton EMS responded to a two-vehicle collision on Highway 13 near the town of Stoughton on Sept. 27. The accident occurred at approximately 9:30 a.m.

The Weyburn Concert Series will present The Everly Brothers Experience featuring the Zmed Brothers in concert, kicking off the Concert Series’ 50th anniversary on Monday, Oct. 1 at 7:30 p.m. at the Cugnet Centre.

The members of the Weyburn Riding and Driving Club held a fundraiser and are hoping to increase the awareness in the community about their activities.

The Weyburn Strait Jackettes will be rolling onto the concrete floor of the Weyburn Curling Rink as they take on the Prince Albert Outlaws for their lone home game of the roller derby season on Saturday, Sept. 29. The doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
