The Weyburn Red Wings entered a ‘new era’ for the Junior Hockey club, as they updated their bylaws and elected a new executive during their annual general meeting. There was a good-sized crowd who attended the meeting, held at the Ramada on June 13.

The Weyburn Comprehensive School presented 44 scholarships and bursaries to Grade 12 students who will be pursuing post-secondary education after they graduate.

The Weyburn Car Club will host their 16th annual Show and Shine in downtown Weyburn on Saturday, June 17. Registration for the Show and Shine will be held in the Weyburn Royal Canadian Legion, downstairs in the Vimy Room, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
