Mildred Delrose Johnston (nee Oliver) passed away peacefully surrounded by family, Monday, April 17, 2017 at the age of 88.

1923 ~ 2017

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Oliveen Muriel Goranson on Easter Sunday, April 16, 2017. She was a loving wife, mother, Grandmother, sister and friend.

Harold “Bud” Logel, late of Weyburn, passed away April 17, 2017, at the age of 86 years.

By Greg Nikkel The staff and board of the Weyburn Public Library, and the Southeast Regional Library, are “elated” that the massive 58-per-cent cut to the regional library system has been reversed by the provincial government.

When Regina guitarist Jack Semple takes to the stage at the Cugnet Centre on Monday, May 1, with his four-piece band, he will be playing a Gibson ES335, which guitar and blues aficionados will know as “Lucille” in the hands of the late great B.B.

Baseball season has officially started for Weyburn players. The Southeast Performance Pump Twins baseball team opened their 2017 midget baseball season in the Saskatchewan Premier Baseball League with doubleheader wins.
